Mission of the Division of Student Affairs
Placing students at the center of their educational experience, the Division of Student Affairs supports and enhances learning and the University community through quality activities, facilities, programs, and services.ÌýÌý
Vice President for Student Affairs Office
The purpose of the Vice President for Student Affairs office is to recommend policies and procedures that will ensure a coordinated delivery and assessment system of student services throughout the Division of Student Affairs (DSA), which includes Enrollment Services, Student Life, Housing & Residential Education and Athletics and Campus Recreation. This includes a comprehensive clearing system which tracks and reports budgets and expenditures; implements or manages special projects; produces and distributes internal and external student communication; and hires, trains and provides staff development for the DSA. The Vice President for Student Affairs office, in its support of the educational mission of the institution, also provides co-curricular education initiatives while coordinating program assessment and evaluation for all units within the Division.ÌýÌý
Housing and Residential Education
91ÊÓƵ is a very special place, and you get the very best of what our campus has to offer by living right in the center of it all on campus in Anacapa or Santa Cruz Villages. In addition to some of the newest and very best student residential facilities available, we offer a complete program with trained staff to support student success, relationship development, and full engagement in the 91ÊÓƵ educational experience.
Santa Cruz Village (SCV) is home to freshmen and sophomores. SCV just opened in fall 2007 and is comprised of two-bedroom furnished suites shared by four students, and a limited number of single rooms. Each suite has its own large bathroom and entry way. SCV has excellent activity and co-curricular space for students such as a television lounge and two game rooms, an exercise room, ballet and art studios, sound-resistant practice rooms, study and computer lounges, and access to the New Student and Transition Center. Each room has cable TV access and the facility offers wireless internet access. Students in SCV enjoy meals at the newly renovated Islands Café, and also have access to common-area kitchens when they like to do a little cooking for themselves.ÌýÌý
Anacapa Village (AV) is available for juniors and seniors and consists of four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments shared by four students, so each student has their own bedroom. Each apartment is fully furnished and includes living and dining room furniture. AV is home to our swimming pool and Jacuzzi, a regular gathering area for students. AV also has study rooms, computer labs, and the Anacapa Commons, a large activity space and television lounge.ÌýÌý

Enrollment Services
Enrollment Services is the general business center for students where they may obtain official transcripts, process program changes, and obtain information on admissions and recruitment, records, registration, and financial aid. Students may also pay fees at the University Cash Service’s window. Enrollment Services is open five days a week on the following days and times:
Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.?
Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Admissions and Recruitment
Admissions
The Admissions office accepts and processes applications for admissions to undergraduate and post baccalaureate programs.
Eligibility for admission to 91ÊÓƵ is governed by Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations and is addressed in the University catalog.ÌýÌý
Recruitment
The Recruitment office develops and maintains positive relationships to recruit, enroll, and retain a qualified and diverse undergraduate and graduate student body. Recruitment counselors participate in college fairs and regularly visit and provide presentations to local high schools, community colleges, and community organizations. Recruitment counselors are available to assist prospective students in understanding the requirements necessary to obtain admission to CSU Channel Islands.ÌýÌý
Registrar’s Office
Records
The Records office maintains timely and accurate records on enrollment and the academic progress and accomplishments of its students, while maintaining the privacy and security of those records.ÌýÌý
Registration
Registration activities for new and continuing students, including eligibility for registration and assignment of registration appointments, are managed by the Registration office. Students register on the web at my91ÊÓƵ. Assistance in registering for classes is available on the Registrar’s Office webpage at www.csuci.edu/records-registration/index.pcf.Ìý
Financial Aid
The Financial Aid office assists students in obtaining financial aid resources to meet their educational costs. Students interested in financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which may be obtained at the Enrollment Center. The FAFSA can also be completed online at: ?www.fafsa.ed.gov. A variety of financial aid resources are available to students, including grants, loans, federal work study, and scholarships. CSU Channel Islands’ federal Title IV School Code is 039803.ÌýÌý
